"Happy People Heal Faster".
By: Ashley Kuipers
I heard this today and smiled. I believe what this quote states, and it got me thinking. I associate this belief directly in regards to any state of distress one may feel. If you smile even when you don’t want or desire to, it just might make you feel better, and possibly someone else. When a smile is necessary, it will force a sense of ease into your life I tried it myself, and I did feel more positive as a result.
Don't sweat things so much! Even matters we tend to exaggerate in our personal lives like break ups, and fighting with loved ones for example, that cause despair and worry, are nothing to be so intensely uncertain about. Believing in the theory that everything happens for a reason, and it will all come together in the end is also a very appropriate way to relieve distress. Why not avoid tragedy in the midst of issues when they are present, and manage them with a calm demeanor?
By considering both the quote and theory I have mentioned, I believe the world would be a happier place. We almost instinctively blow unfortunate occurrences out of proportion. If we inhabit an ability to remain generally content it will aid us in avoiding effects to our own personal distress, NOT making it worse instead. SO smile more folks! It can be can be expansive, and therefore innovate us all!
